Virtual Ketamine Journeying Experience
By SW Holistic Therapy Practice
Based in California
Ketamine-Assisted Therapy (KAT) is more than a clinical intervention—it is a crossing, a story in motion, a conversation between the conscious and unconscious.
This Virtual Ketamine Journeying & Integration Experience is designed for adults in California seeking ketamine-assisted therapy through the lens of depth psychology, narrative therapy, and ritual. Rather than focusing solely on symptom relief, this work invites you to explore symbolic imagery, reconnect with inner wisdom, and re-author the stories shaping your life.
Healing through expanded states is not something to rush or extract from. It is something to listen to.
This experience moves through intentional thresholds—each one bridging inner experience with embodied integration, personal insight with relational witnessing.
How Ketamine-Assisted Therapy Works
KAT is a process, not a single session.
It typically includes:
Preparation sessions to explore goals, concerns, safety, and intentions
Ketamine dosing sessions (conducted virtually) with therapeutic support
Integration sessions to help make sense of the experience and apply insights over time
Holistic care = Collaboration with a medical prescriber to ensure safety and care
During ketamine sessions, clients often experience changes in perception, imagery, emotion, or body awareness. Some experiences feel expansive or peaceful; others may bring up difficult material.
I approach this work through a harm-reduction, trauma-informed, and relational lens—meaning we move slowly, prioritize safety, and stay responsive to your nervous system and lived experience.

-
Group therapy involves a small group of individuals meeting regularly to discuss and work on shared challenges, guided by a therapist. It differs from individual therapy, where one-on-one sessions focus solely on a single person's concerns. The group setting offers unique benefits, such as peer support and learning from others' experiences.
-
Confidentiality in group therapy is maintained through the establishment of ground rules, which require all members to commit to keeping the discussions private. This means that what is shared within the group should not be disclosed outside the group setting, creating a safe and trusting environment for everyone.
-
Group therapy can address a wide range of issues, such as anxiety, depression, grief, relationship problems, or addiction. It's especially helpful for concerns that benefit from shared experiences and peer support, as individuals can learn from one another and work together toward personal growth.
-
To determine if group therapy is right for you, consider your specific needs, preferences, and goals. If you feel that connecting with others facing similar challenges and learning from their experiences might be beneficial, group therapy could be a suitable option. It's always a good idea to consult with a mental health professional for guidance on choosing the best treatment approach.
-
In a typical group therapy session, members take turns sharing their thoughts, feelings, and experiences, while others listen and provide support or feedback. The therapist's role is to facilitate the discussion, ensure a safe and respectful environment, and guide the group toward therapeutic insights and growth.
